Lose yourself in movies and music with the DVD-615 from Coby, which happens to be karaoke-ready with 2 microphone inputs so you and a friend can duet to your favorite karaoke DVDs and CDs (including CD+Graphic discs). The sleek and silver machine is compatible with both NTSC and PAL televisions, and its auto-switching power supply handles AC power from 110 to 220 volts--perfect for entertainment during those summers abroad. The DVD-615 will even produce custom slideshows from your digital photos on Kodak Picture CDs.

Whether your living room is currently home to an HDTV or you're merely thinking of "someday," the DVD-615 is equipped to deliver the full potential of your DVDs. Progressive scanning, referred to as 480p for the number of horizontal lines that compose the video image, creates a picture using twice the scan lines of a conventional DVD picture, giving you higher resolution and sharper images while eliminating nearly all motion artifacts. Standard composite- and S-video outputs bring compatibility with nearly any television.

A set of left/right analog-audio outputs channel audio to Dolby Pro Logic receivers and stereo televisions, while Dolby Digital 5.1-channel surround-sound signals can be routed through the player's digital-audio outputs (1 each of RCA coaxial and Toslink optical) for direct connection to a full-featured audio/video receiver.

Other features include the ability to display multiple subtitles and viewing angles (with applicable DVDs), a convenient onscreen display, picture zoom, parental lock, and a full-function remote control.
